Button Making is always FUN!!

Button making seems to be all the rage in Ulster County this year. Come make buttons for our volunteers as they canvass everywhere to get out the vote and win in November! We have great templates and you can even create your own! Materials will be provided or bring your favorite markers or crayons. Even little, thin, stickers can work.

Posters and Mini-Scenes for Social Media!!

This is a truly citizen-driven action. We used it to help the turnout for Sheriff Figueroa in his first historic win in Ulster County. Each person will create one or more smaller posters/ pictures, memos that relate to voting, our candidates, Democracy, the election. It can be a painting, a poem, a picture, even a little mini-diorama. We take a phone snapshot of it and on a designated day, we all post to our Social Media sites and flood them with pro-Democratic messages of the best, most creative and special home-grown variety. Social media campaigns are seriously expensive. This is free, fun and it works! NO ARTISTIC SKILLS NEEDED. Just joy and the will to win! Basic Materials Provided but bring anything else you like to help make fun designs or diorama’s.
